I was invited to be part of an exhibit paying homage to Edgar Allan Poe. Reading through his poems, I came across The Raven, and selected it as inspiration for my print. The Raven’s quote in the poem “Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before” inspired me to connect my thoughts about migration and the future of the children (Dreamers) that were brought by their parents to this country and their fate in the future.
